Here is another module from another module on my university course.
We were asked to get in contact with concept artists and turn their work into 3D representations.
I came across a brilliant artist named Sam Westall who made twenty-five concepts for Sea of Thieves: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/4bPm5n
I asked his permission and I took eight of his concepts and turned them into 3D objects. I used Blender to model them and Adobe Substance 3D Painter to texture them.
I also create a sand plane with some displacement to display everything on and I did some work in Unreal where I created a fire particle effect and played the scene out.
I enjoyed this project a lot. Thanks Sam for allowing me to do this!
